The charm of Chateau De Beauvois is undeniable. the setting feels like stepping back in time. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful seasonal views that really capture the essence of the chateau life. I appreciated the outdoor swimming pool during the hot summer days, making for a refreshing escape. The dining area exudes elegance, and I enjoyed the quality of food offered, although the menu could benefit from more vegetarian options. One of the highlights was the pool area, where I found it to be a lovely space despite some delays in food service. However, there were definitely areas needing improvement. The air conditioning in our Superior Double Room was inadequate, leaving the room uncomfortably warm at times. I also encountered musty smells in the corridors that detracted from the otherwise lovely ambiance. Moreover, the restaurant's schedule posed a challenge. it was closed on the day of my arrival, leaving limited dining options without prior arrangements. Also, requiring reservations for dining felt excessive, especially considering the cost. A bit of modernization in the rooms would help enhance the overall experience. Cleaning crew missed some crucial details, like those last year's flying insects in the lampshade. Therefore, while the historical charm and beautiful setting of the chateau is appealing, the service and facility updates would elevate the experience significantly.
